Start-Arts Development Manager for Comberton Area

Whether you are interested in theatre, rock music, watercolour, carnival, films or public art CVC’s Arts Development Manager, Richard Brown, is here to help you. Richard works across the school’s catchment area with people of all ages and with a variety of community and professional groups to deliver a wide range of arts activities right on your doorstep.

 

This post is part of the Start-Arts initiative, a partnership between South Cambridgeshire District Council and several village colleges which places arts development managers in the centre of communities across south Cambs. Projects in other parts of the district have included: Children’s holiday workshops in dance, music and drama called ‘The Academy’, a mobile cinema kit for use by community groups and an online listing service for arts events in South Cambs – www.thelistlive.org.uk

    Bloco welcomes Seb Coe

    Cambourne Bloco

    The newly established Cambourne Bloco is still looking for new recruits aged 11 - 18. With a packed summer of events already lined up for 2010 we need more drummers, brass and woodwind players and dancers to take part in this project which builds to the Olympic Games in 2012.
