At Comberton Leisure we can offer you a great range of facilities at a great price ...

  • Air conditioned Fitness Suite with updated cardio, resistance and free weight zones
  • FREE badminton and tennis court hire (available for non members at price of £6 per court).
  • A full range of FREE studio classes for all fitness levels (available for non members at £4.50 per class or £3 per class at our concession rate).

STUDIO CLASSES

 

All studio classes must be booked in advance and are available for booking up to 7 days in advance for non members and 8 days in advance for members.

Where possible you should arrive 15 minutes prior to the class to allow time to check in, change and make your way to the class location. If you have not checked in 5 minutes before the class you risk losing your place to any waiting members.

Reserve lists will ony operate 'on the day' for members being in the club 5 minutes before the class starts.

Please offer courtesy to other club users by cancelling your class space if you are unable to utilise it. If you wish to cancel a class you must do so at least 1 hour prior to the start of the class.

Studio Timetable 2008

The classes we currently offer are:

BODY TORQUE & CIRCUITS A heart-pumping multi-station workout. Develop tone, strength, endurance and stamina. Body Torque includes boxercise.

 

BODY BLAST An intensive full body workout using weights. Working on core stability and deep muscle conditioning.

 

THIGHS, TUMS & BUMS A class combining cardiovascular work with conditioning and toning. Focusing on those problem areas!

 

SCULPT & TONE Total body conditioning class. Burning calories and all over muscle toning to reshape your body

 

HI/LO AEROBICS High and low impact aerobics. A class to suit all abilities. You do what you can!

 

CARDIO KICK Aerobic class which combines punches and kick moves. A class with attitude!

 

PILATES A mind and body class. To improve posture, balance, flexibility and co-ordination.

 

AB BLASTER An intense abdominable workout, aimed at anyone desiring a toned stomach or that six-pack you’ve dreamed of!

 

CIRCUIT TRAINING A multi-station workout that can be taken at the intensity you want. This class develops strength, power, endurance and toning.

 

HULA HOOPING An aerobic workout using specially weighted fitness hula hoops. Helps to build on aerobic fitness as well as toning stomach and back muscles.

 

REVOLUTIONS (BIKE SPINNING) Improve your overall cardiovascular fitness, energy levels, flexibility, body toning and strength. Suits all levels.

 

POWER WALKING A fitness class that takes place outside the gym! Be led around the village for a social yet intensive walk, to work on cardio-vascular fitness, fat-burning, and muscular endurance and toning in the legs.

   

MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES

We offer various flexible membership packages. Payment can be either monthly by standing order or annually which buys you 12 months for the price of 11. We also offer blocks of months suitable for students to buy or pay as you go for those less frequent users.

PAY & PLAY

As an alternative to taking out a membership, our sports and fitness facilities and services can be booked on an occasional basis.

For health and safety reasons, all users of the fitness suite whether it be members or pay & play members must complete a short induction programme with a qualified fitness instructor, for which a charge is made.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly local health and fitness club. Most of our members are local residents from Comberton and the surrounding villages. Our friendly staff are able to help with bookings, advice and other information.
